Rice Cooking Basics

Cheesy Rice


Ingredients:

Amount Ingredient
15 lb cooked California Calrose rice (cooked in chicken broth)
1 lb parmesan cheese
1 ea parsley, chopped

Directions:

Sprinkle cheese over hot cooked rice in each of three 12x20x2 inch pans. Top with chopped fresh or dried parsley.

Serving Size:
One No. 8 scoop (1/2 cup) provides 1 bread alternate

Each Serving Provides:
117 calories, 4 grams protein, 1 gram fat, 22 grams carbohydrate, 0 grams dietary fiber, 3 milligrams cholesterol and 271 milligrams sodium.

Serving Suggestion:
