Its nice to see that California Rice Farmers can provide such a lush habitat for the birds migrating through the Pacific Flyway and the Sacramento area. As a photographer, I love driving around the rice fields and photographing the many species of birds visiting in the winter as well as those in spring raising their families and even throughout the summer as some species stay year round!
