The California rice industry works closely with its many waterfowl partners on wildlife habitat issues. To this end, we have formed the California Ricelands Habitat Partnership to hold focused discussions about riceland habitat issues. Through this forum and many others, we work with the California Department of Fish & Game, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Ducks Unlimited, PRBO Conservation Sciences, California Waterfowl Association, Audubon, the Nature Conservancy, and the Central Valley Joint Venture to consider important Riceland habitat issues and initiatives.
